PowerSteel Products™ manufactures very high quality merchant steel couplings to ASTM A865 specifications. These couplings are used on our T&C pipe and are also sold separately.
For both Full and half merchant couplings, 1/8” to 2” couplings are straight tapped. Merchant couplings larger than 2” are taper tapped.
PowerSteel Products uses our high quality BPE/GPE to make our Threaded and Coupled Pipe. Both ends of the Plain End pipe are threaded and a coupling is attached to one end. Standard lengths are 21 and 24 feet, but custom lengths are available. PowerSteel Products makes Black and Galvanized T&C Pipe according to ASTM A53 Grade A and Grade B, welded and seamless, ASTM A105 seamless, API 5L, and we can also make threaded and coupled pipe according to customer requirements. T & C pipe can be produced in both USA pipe sizes as well as metric sizes.
